Another Woman Speaks Out About Gift Ideas

Posted in Uncategorized at 2:11 am by Michelle

Hopefully this was a hint on what not to get.  Which I am assuming it is by the under tone in her post.  Really guys, is this something that you believe that we want?  I know that it is the thought that counts.  We do appreciate that you thought about us.  I guess women just really need to start expressing what they really want.  On the same hand I am sure that men get tired of getting, fishing rods, hats, ties, and t-shirts.  If you know what type of a gift you want.  Let us know, tell us, but remember to be reasonable.  Our pocket books can only afford so much.  Good luck on gift hunting on this holiday and all future holidays.

3. I have Chihuahuas (which I love dearly)

4. I work full time.

5. I am a college student.

6. I have children.

Now knowing these things, what you would suggest for a gift for me? Kitchen Items?

Well my husband, never has a clue! One year for Christmas I got a juicer, plate set, and a ice cream maker. Mind you these are all great items, but that was all that I got. For you men that might be a little bit confused on what kind of a gift to get her on Christmas, Birthday’s, Anniversary, let me give you a few hints. Read the rest of this entry »

Cindo De Mayo is Mexico’s national holiday commemorating the Mexican Army’s defeat of the French forces on May 5, 1862 at Puebla. Cinco De Mayo is usually celebrated by singing, dancing, parting, and having a feast.  It is in general a time to be proud to be of Hispanic descent.  If you are planning on having a Cinco De Mayo celebration this year here are some great recipes that you may want to take a look at!

School Memories — Scrabooking

Posted in Art, Art Projects, Arts and Crafts, Family, Kids, Scrapbooking at 12:49 am by Michelle

You know as I get older and I look back at my old year books I am surprised about how many things that I do not remember anymore! Guess I am showing my age :)

I ran across a great selection of scrapbook pages that will allow everyone to scrapbook about everything from the first day until graduation. Wouldn’t it be great to capture our children’s memories in a scrapbook that they could cherish for all times. They could even help journalize about important events during school. Then as the years go by they will not forget those precious moments!

Here are a few of the pages that I have found, if you see one that you like just click on the picture to be taken to the store. Each page is 12″ x 12″ and is on 80lb text paper. There is no minimum order and each page is 65 cents or you can purchase them in a pack of 25 for $8.50. There are even coordinating embellishments to go with the scrapbook pages. To view more scrapbook pages go to Two Gals And A Computer Toy Store. These are all from the NEW Saved By The Bell Collection. This beautiful collection features bright colors with fun shapes, that everyone will enjoy.
